New Archive is pleased to present a selection of original artworks by Jeff Kraus. Early Leathr_13 is a work on paper created for and featured in the publication, published by New Archive, ©2019. Using the shifting and dynamic landscape of New York as a point of departure, Kraus pulls reference from graffiti, city construction sites, and urban development in these new works to generate a new language. In addition to these environments, Kraus draws content from a personal archive of text messages, travelogues, and photography as source materials for this body of work.
Custom framed in Brooklyn with wood profiles and framers grade Acrylite® plexi. White frame face is 3/4 inch, work is floated on acid-free, archival 4-ply off-white matting. 2 inch mat visible between artwork and frame edge. Overall frame dimensions of 16 x 20 x 1-1/8 inches. The work comes with a Certification of Authenticity signed by the the artist and placed on the back of the frame.
